| I use the free software from the Personal
Ancestral File, which is a product of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My genealogy web pages were created by the Personal Ancestral File software. Download the software at http://www.familysearch.org The Church of the Latter-day Saints have the most complete genealogy data in the world. If your ancestors came to the United States via Ellis Island, check this web site http://www.ellisislandrecords.org/ Another site that is of great value in doing genealogy research is RootsWeb. This is a good supplement to the Latter-Day Saints Family Search site. This is a database of all of my Ancestors- I will update this on a regular basis! This is a database of the Descendants of Samuel Tester - This includes all data that I have on the Tester family. Samuel is the first Tester in my line who came to North Carolina. I will add new data as I find it. An excellent site for the most complete data on Samuel Tester and discussion of the Teaster/Tester issue and other issues is The Teaster & McKinney Web Page. A disscussion of all the early Testers/Teasters in the United States is found here. This is a database of the Descendants of Herman Pieters Vandeventer. My mother was a Vandeventer and Herman Pieters is the earliest Vandeventer in my genealogy. He was born in 1575 in Deventer, Holland. My mother's mother was a Massengill. This page traces the Descendants of Gilbert Massengill down to the present. Gilbert is the first Massengill that I have been able to trace. I will be adding data on a regular basis and would like to hear from anyone with additional data or corrections. My father's mother was a Harmon. This page traces the Descendants of Johan Michael Harmon who was born in 1670 in Wurttenburg, Germany. This is the first Harmon that I have been able to trace.
